Between two sizes? Go up.
No parent has ever regretted sizing up. Almost everyone wishes they had. Bamboo holds up to 30% ease without looking oversized.
Height over weight, always.
In babies, height predicts fit better than weight. If your baby is between ranges, choose by height.
Footed bags: size exact.
With footed ones, don't go big - loose feet are a tripping hazard. Size to your child's current height.
Check the category, not just the age.
A 12-month-old fits differently in a romper than in a sleeping bag. Always check the chart for that product.
